First Month of the Year

I always unplug at the beginning of a new year. This means less time online and more time off doing the things I love most = enjoying new wines and experiencing new places. 

The new year for me begins by judging at the American Fine Wine Competition (AFWC) in Miami, an event that happens the first month of the year, for the past 12 years. Florida is a great place during the winter months, and I tend to stay longer to gather up inspiration for the months ahead.
